Do I need to own a SOLIDWORKS license to take a course? +

For live classes, a license is provided for the duration of training. For self-paced certification prep, you'll want an active SOLIDWORKS license — see our SOLIDWORKS plans if you don't have one yet.

What's the difference between CSWA and CSWP? +

CSWA (Associate) validates foundational modeling skills. CSWP (Professional) is the next tier, validating more advanced part, assembly, and drawing competency — it's the credential most employers ask for.
